Landscapes
Landforms .
Landscapes are the visible features of the land.
Shaped by physical processes (wind, waves, earthquakes, etc.) over millions of years
They have been covered by the presence of humans in some places. (Eg Homes, shopping centres, etc)
The natural features of the landscape. Eg, a valley, a mountain, cliffs, dunes and glaciers.

4. The value we put on landscapes
Cultural value – how the landscape influences ideas and arts in a country. This includes the films, poetry, stories and art in a country. Eg. The poem My Country – Dorothy McKellar
Spiritual value – the connection with the land, linked to beliefs. Eg. Indigenous Australians believe that Uluru is a sacred place to the Anangu people

5. The value we put on landscapes
Aesthetic value – a landscape’s beauty. This is very personal.
Some places have been recognised for their beauty – eg. National Parks.
Economic value- landscapes that help a community make money. This could be because of tourism or mining.

One word must be an adjective – a word that describes something/ a noun
