Haul Tickets
3
MDOT has three categories of items that require tickets Volume (cubic yards/meters) – the truck is measured to get the volume. Weight (tons, with or without moisture content) – the truck is weighed to get the tonnage. Asphalt (tons with liquid asphalt content) – the truck is weighed to get the tonnage. The mix design is also known and entered.
4
Before the volume tickets can be entered, the truck volume information must be defined. We modified the SM Design Evaluation window, to handle this function.

Trucks must be defined per contract

Haul Tickets are accessed from the Work Items Tab on the DWR. It is a program inside of SiteManager that is accessed at the Pay Item level through the template functionality. All Pay Item templates require the user to complete the template fields to get their Placed Quantity amount for that Pay Item
8
The user opens the DWR, goes to the Work Items tab and selects the Pay Item.
9
The user selects the Contractor and documents the location for that Pay Items installation. Notice the Placed Qty Field is read only.
10
When the user clicks the save button the template functionality is automatically triggered. The user double-clicks on the Template ID to open the ticket plug-in executable.
11
If the ticket numbers are sequential, truck number is the only item entered.
