Urban refugees are settled across numerous vulnerable neighbourhoods, rather than concentrated in a single area
Accross the target areas, refugees account for 6% of the total number of households. This proportion varies from one area to another. *

KKCA TO DEVELOP AN URBAN MIGRATION STRATEGY
Organisation of an ‘exposure and networking visit’ to Europe for KCCA’s Executive Director to connect with municipalities engaged in urban refugee integration and advocate for new partnerships in May 2018
High potential for future cooperation between KCCA and cities met in Sweden and Germany, but also other AGORA pilot cities from the South
AGORA’s pilot project reinforced KCCA’s strategic interest in providing a municipal response to refugee influx, from a strategic and technical viewpoint
Assessment results and ‘exposure visit’ opportunities to support KCCA in implementing and monitoring its Strategy for integration of migrants and refugees in urban planning
