1 On This Day 8 September World First Aid Day – it’s aim is to improve confidence and willingness to learn vital First Aid skills. Learning to save lives is a simple kindness that can make all the difference. 11 September The 9/11 attacks were four coordinated terrorist attacks against the United States, by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda, on the morning of Tuesday 11th September The attacks killed over 3,000 people and injured over 6,000 others. There was at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage.

5 Well Done to… Well done to all those who took part in the Football Tournament at the weekend.

6 Well done to… Well done to Gemma and Shannon who competed in an Badminton Tournament at the weekend. The girls played in the Under 14’s category, and quite often against S1/S2 pupils. Well done girls!

7 Well done to… Well done to Kairi who went to the Science Festival over the weekend and made this lovely bracelet.

8 Well done to… Well done to Daniel, Marcin and Logan who went to the Cubs at the weekend. They were cutting up fruit to make fruit kebabs!

9 Well done to… Well done to Daniel, Amelie and Laurie who took part in a Lifesaving Workshop on Sunday. They learnt how to do CPR and how to help someone if they are choking. Well done guys!

10 Well done to… Well done to James and his big sister Annie for taking part in the Mischief Makers Reading Challenge.
