The comparison between two kinds of fibers and testing the effect of MCPET as reflector

Purpose The comparing experiment aimed to compare the effect of Y11 fiber and Saint Gobain fiber and improved the experiment by covering scintillators with Tyvek because I did not cover scintillators with Tyvek in the last experiment. The experiment which tested the effect of MCPET aimed to see whether the MCPET serves better than print paper as reflectors. 2

MCPET is the abbreviation of Micro Cellular PET, this material can decrease the waste of light by its high reflectivity which is higher than 95%. MCPET Print paper 12

Summary In the first experiment, we can tell the Y11 fiber performs better than the Saint Gobain fiber In the second experiment, we can see the effects of MCPET and print paper are similar. 16 16
