Ecological Relationships
Standard II: Objective 2: Generalize the dependent relationships between organisms. a. Categorize the relationships between organisms (i.e., producer/consumer/decomposer, predator/prey, mutualism/parasitism) and provide examples of each.
2
Symbiosis: Organisms living together
3
Is this Symbiosis? The pilot fish follow sharks for leftovers. YES!
4
Is this Symbiosis? Mosquito sucking blood YES!

Parasitism Human tape-worm is a quick way to lose weight- They grow over 20 feet long. Maybe there’s something more important than weight to worry about, eh?
12
What type of Symbiosis is this? (Mutualism, Commensalism, Parasitism)

13

Leeches suck blood from other animals. Parasitism
14
What type of Symbiosis is this? (Mutualism, Commensalism, Parasitism)
Leopard seal eating a penguin Not Symbiosis!! This is a predator/prey relationship
15
