Associate in Arts & Sciences BA in Studio Art (75 credits) Art Department College of Arts, Letters, and Education Why study Art? Pursuing art as a major gives students the chance to develop the highest levels of artistic performance, pursue professional education, and build a cultural understanding and aesthetic appreciation of visual art. EWU Gallery of Art Exhibitions of student, faculty, and visiting artist work are rotated quarterly in the Gallery of Art. A unique, central space in the Art Building, the gallery offers students first-hand experience with the methods of successful visual art display. The gallery program also sponsors public art lectures, visiting artists’ workshops, and cooperative exhibitions with Northwest museums.
