Alleles differ outside the region amplified and sequenced: Allele ambiguities Several heterozygous allele combinations can result in identical heterozygous sequences. Genotype ambiguities Alleles differ only in regions where the sequence of some other alleles are unknown Lack sequence ambiguities 2 2
