Any enquiry from a foreign buyer will be sent directly to their individual pages or members zone as we know it
FIEO will provide guidance and services to its members during the course of exports or imports by interacting with all facilitating agencies, a few named earlier for speeding up the export process with the least transaction time and cost.
FIEO also represents to the trade facilitation agencies on behalf of the exporters by collecting, collating and analysing statistics and issues concerning international trade.
It also ensures reach. Hence, even if the member is situated in a far distance corner of the state, the member can correspond with FIEO over and get his job done as fast as possible. FIEO RCMC and Certificate of Origin is online now!
As you might have already gathered from the previous slides, objective of FIEO is to enable exporters and importers to enter and transact business in international markets with the least possible transaction cost and time. In order to ensure this, FIEO has geared up to be e-savvy in all matters of international trade. FIEO members have the following advantages which they can avail without moving out of their offices:

28. REGISTRATION WITH FIEO
After obtaining the Importer Exporter Code (IEC) from the office of the Additional DGFT, the exporter/importer needs to register his products with a relevant export Promotion Council by obtaining a RCMC.
In this regard, the Director General of Foreign Trade has stipulated that FIEO is the RCMC issuing authority for:
Status Holders (turnover of more than US$ 3 million)
An export company dealing in products not covered by any EPC/Commodity Board, etc
In respect of multi product exporters not registered with any EPC, where main line of business is not discernible, the exporter has an option to obtain an RCMC from FIEO
FIEO RCMC is valid for exporting products and availing benefits under the FTP
