This MUST be completed before you exit the building your last day of school. DON’T plan to come back and “visit” and turn in your request after graduation – we will be trying to get transcripts finalized and ready to send.
Final transcripts not complete until early June.

Be sure you have verified the spelling of your name and your diploma type. Let your counselor know about corrections.
This is only for correct diploma spelling – it does NOT guarantee that you are walking.

6. OHS Fees and fines Must be cleared at OHS
No money collected at rehearsal or graduation day
No diplomas will be issued or transcripts submitted until all fees are paid
Cash only

7. cap and gown Must come from Josten’s.
Pick your orders up in the counseling office ASAP.
Hang up gown – no iron
No white collar
Name in cap
Keep up with your tassel – they slide out easily and you don’t want to be without one.

8. Honors cords ***Available in the bank***
ONLY stoles and cords purchased in the bank or distributed by an OHS faculty club sponsor allowed at graduation ceremony.
Graduating with Honors – Red ($10)
Graduation with Distinction – Navy ($10)
Graduation with Honors with Distinctions – Red and Navy ($20)

9. Graduation Dress Code Formal ceremony
Dress code: must meet OHS dress code requirements
Is strictly enforced
Mandatory check in
Out of dress code = not allowed to walk
Can not leave once checked in
No purses or personal items – dance studios will be locked, not able to unlock until ceremony is over

11. Appropriate dress, continued
NO TOMS, FLIP FLOPS, CHACOS OR TENNIS

No hat decorations will be allowed

12. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated at graduation.

13. Diploma Pick up Immediately after ceremony
Same location as dress code check (aux. gym)
Must be cleared of all fines and fees owed

14. Graduation rehearsal Thursday, May 17th @ 1:00pm Murphy Center – MTSU
You must attend practice to participate on Sunday.
Very IMPORTANT to be sure you have a seat.
Seating assignments will be posted on the walls in the tunnels – be in your seat at 1:00.
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAP AND GOWN TO REHEARSAL

Are going into the military immediately following graduation.
Believe you have perfect attendance for all four years of high school.
Are not planning to participate in the graduation ceremony – need to let me know about this no later than Friday, May 4th at the end of school.
