Counting in Videos Compute superpixels for each frame.
Compute the count for each superpixel in all frames using: Haroon Idrees, Imran Saleemi, Cody Seibert, and Mubarak Shah, Multi-Source Multi-Scale Counting in Extremely Dense Crowd Images, IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), Portland, Oregon, June 25-27, 2013. Compute dense trajectories using code from: M. Raptis, I. Kokkinos, and S. Soatto. Discovering discriminative action parts from mid-level video representations. In CVPR, 2012. Construct a 3-D Conditional Random Field to connect neighboring superpixels in the same frame and across frames using the trajectories computed. To add the constraint that nearby superpixels and superpixels connected by trajectories should have a similar count. To smooth the counts across frames and improve counts.

Average of 9 annotated frames per video. Head counts ranging from Average of 557 head counts per frame.
