After first reported human case in October, 2013: A joint surveillance activity was started by MOAF, MOH and SQU Serum and nasal swab samples (n=76) were collected from randomly selected camels belonging to different governorates of Oman Samples from 5 (6.6%) camels tested positive by PCR
