Welcome back and Happy New Year! We hope that you have had a magical Christmas and had some time to relax after a busy start to the school year, we have got a lot to do in the 15 weeks before SATs!
Maths
English
We will start the half term by looking at decimals, percentages, ratio and proportion, as well as some measurement. We will also be revisiting all arithmetic in preparation for SATs
This half term the children will learn how to write in a number of different styles that will link directly with our topic. This will cover stories with a flashback, autobiographies and biographies.
Topic & Science
Science : Earth & Space and Forces.
Topic: Stargazers
This is a science based topic in which we will investigate the planets, learn about ‘Aurora Borealis’ and take a look at the Moon!
Homework

All children MUST be reading everyday for at least 15 mins
Weekly spellings will be sent home to practice and be tested each Friday.
