Discipline Data What are discipline data?
8/16/2016 Discipline Data What are discipline data? Documentation of referrals of any kind where the student gets in trouble. Incident could result in documentation only (i.e., no consequence) to expulsion. This is NOT a documentation of any other kind of event (for example, NOT for when the parent parks in the bus loading zone after repeated warnings, NOT for when a student feels depressed, NOT for when something was stolen but no offender is known). Documentation of other events go in Log Entries. Why are accurate discipline data important? Need accurate history for every student Reporting to the superintendent, state, and feds needs to be timely and accurate 2

Behavior Error Reports
8/16/2016 Behavior Error Reports To check to see if you entered the information correctly, please run both behavior error reports. To get to them, you don’t have to go into a student first. Just click on System Reports on the left, click on sqlReports 4 across the top, and find both reports under Behavior. The first one looks for data entry errors within the incident report itself. The second one looks for discrepancies between attendance and incidents – if there is a suspension or in-school suspension in attendance without a corresponding suspension or in-school suspension in incidents, for example. Please run these two reports on a regular and frequent basis, and then fix the problems.
