ICC 2018 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) is one of the IEEE Communications Society’s two flagship conferences dedicated to driving innovation in nearly every aspect of communications. Each year, more than 2,900 scientific researchers and their management submit proposals for program sessions to be held at the annual conference.

ICC 2018 – cont’ After extensive peer review, the best of the proposals are selected for the conference program, which includes technical papers, tutorials, workshops and industry sessions designed specifically to advance technologies, systems and infrastructure that are continuing to reshape the world and provide all users with access to an unprecedented spectrum of high-speed, seamless and cost-effective global telecommunications services. ICC 2018 has held on May 20-24, 2018, Kansas City, MO, USA

A New Fog-Cloud Storage Framework with Transparency and Auditability – cont’
Keynotes are focused on Software Defined Network (SDN) technologies, next generation 5G wireless network technologies, and Internet of Things / Fog- Cloud/Edge computing technologies. Unlike my prediction from 4 years ago, SDN has found useful applications in Data Center networks, and therefore I expect the technologies will continue to attract attentions Fog/Edge computing seems to have its own ground in the field, but several killer applications are needed to further grow Lots of companies are focusing on 5G, the next generation cellular network technology

Benefit of Travel Collaboration Opportunities
This is my first time to present a paper at ICC, while I have presented a number of top conferences before. ICC is one of well respected conference in IEEE Communication Society This year, I have met my close colleague from Brazil (Dr. Michele Nogueira from Federal University of Paraná) and her Ph.D. students and discussed about a collaboration opportunity for a conference in the near future
7
Benefit of Travel New Research Ideas
The current conference can be extended into a journal version based on the feedbacks given during/after the presentation During the conference travel, I have come up with a new idea to apply mobile edge computing and workload offloading for vehicular adhoc network
