-why does considering audience matter? Changes the way in which we approach argument
What is audience for your paper-> what does that automatically indicate?- diction, tone, etc
But also what is expected re images, citations-> genre

Scholarly Essay

-Uses primary and secondary evidence as a way of persuading (Logos)

Keep track of how each are used
Consider: timing, accompanying visuals, genre, audience, sources
