How would I go about answering this question in 3 good paragraphs? 1st Paragraph: George Washington gave advice, wisdom, and thoughts during his farewell speech. These words were given to future leaders, citizens and the country as a whole. In some ways we have and haven’t listened to him.

The U.S. remained neutral in the war between France and Britain
The treaty put the U.S. on Britain’s side. Agents from France demand $250,000 bribe. Also wanted the U.S. to lend France $7 million. French agents were kept secret.
