2-26. Disks of polycarbonate plastic from a supplier are analyzed for scratch and shock resistance. The results from 100 disks are summarized below: shock resistance high low scratch high resistance low Let A denote the event that a disk has high shock resistance, and let B denote the event that a disk has high scratch resistance. Determine the number of disks in A  B, and A  B.

(b) The batch contains the items {a, b, c, d, e, f, g}. (c) The batch contains 4 defective items and 20 good items. (d) The batch contains 1 defective item and 20 good items.
