Figure 5 | Types of urinary diversion. a | Kock pouch. This diversion was developed by Kock43 and consists of an ileal reservoir with an intussuscepted nipple valve. b | Indiana pouch45. This diversion consists of an ileocaecal reservoir with ileocaecal valve. c | Mainz pouch46. This diversion consists of an ileal reservoir with an intussuscepted ileal nipple valve. d | Hautmann neobladder52. This diversion is an orthotopic neobladder using an ileal segment that is detubularized in a 'W' or an 'M' shape and anastomosed to the urethra with the ureters tunnelled into the reservoir. e | Studer neobladder53.
