Personification – giving something that is not human human traits Metaphor – comparison without like/as Simile – comparison using like/as Imagery – words that appeal to the 5 senses

Vocabulary continued Idiom – expression particular to a language not meant to be taken literally. Conflicts (Internal – within one person External – between two people/elements) Motive – a person’s reason for doing something.
