Islam is the true religion and it provides many evidences and proofs for the facts and teachings it provides. Actually Islam urges humans to use their intellect to ponder and think about universal clues and signs to see the truth

If we are going to say that Qur’an is one of the evidences to show that Islam is indeed from God Almighty the a person might ask how do we know that Qur’an is authentic ? All other scriptures like Bible, Torah have been subjected to changes like deletions and additions. The preservation of Qur’an itself is one of the proofs that Islam is a revelation from God Almighty ‘’ Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian’’ Qur’an 15: 09

a. During the life time of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) Qur’an was never written in one book because as long as Prophet (BPUH) is alive it is possible that new verses will be revealed, however Prophet (PBUH) used to recite the Qur’an completely every Ramadan, so the Qur’an was all know to Sahaba* who used to memorize it and write it partially but never all in one book
b. After the death of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) Qur’an was compiled in one book during the Rulership of Abu Baker

c. Qur’an was compiled again in writing during the Rulership of Othman, this copy was compared to Abu Baker’s compilation and they were exactly the same d. Then all manuscripts were destroyed by burning except Othman’s e. Finally, replicas were made out of Othman’s compilation to make sure that all manuscripts are the same.

a. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) encouraged Muslim to memorize the Qur’an, Sahaba used to listen constantly to the reciting of Qur’an from the Prophet and during prayers and memorizing it by heart. b. After the death of the Prophet there were many Sahaba memorizing Qur’an, and this memorization of the Qur’an was passed on generation after generation of the Muslims (Mutawater transmission of Qur’an). It is impossible to have something transmitted by thousand of people throughout the generations and yet it comes to us all in the same script unless it is preserved by God Almighty from changes. Conclusion: when we refer to Qur’an we are referring to a document that is verified and certified to be authentic

Allah challenged All humans and Jinns to produce something similar to the Qur’an and also Challenged Arabia people to produce 10 Chapters or even one chapter like Qur’an and no body did. ‘’ Say: if the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another’’ Qur’an 17:88 ‘’ And if you are in doubt of what we sent down upon our servant (Mohammad), then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful’’ Qur’an 02:23

Qur’an mentioned so many scientific facts which were not discovered by mankind until only few years or centuries back, these facts were the reason of declaring Islam by many non-Muslim scientists as it is absolutely impossible for an illiterate man like Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) who lived years ago to know all these distinctively accurate information unless it all sent down from God Almighty.

‘’ And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay {12} Then We placed him as a sperm - drop in a firm lodging {13} Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump (of flesh), and we made (from) the lump bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation, so blessed is Allah, the best of creators’’ Qur’an 23:12-14 This fact was discovered by mankind only in 20th century; about 1400 after revelation of Qur’an where nobody had the instruments for such discovery !

Ancient Greece used to think that water reservoirs form from a spray coming out of the see and collected in the caves ! This theory is proven to be false now a days when scientists discovered the Water cycle which miraculously described in Qur’an 1400 years ago. ‘’ Do you not see that Allah sends down the rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs (and rivers) in the earth ….’’ Qur’an 39:21

a. ‘’And it was said: O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold (your rain), and the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, the ship came to rest on the (mountain of) Judiyy....’’ Qur’an 11:44 Recently archaeologists found on mount Judyii in Turky a boat shaped object same as mentioned on Quran. b. ‘’And Pharoah said: Oh eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me O Haman (a fire) upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses….’’ Qur’an 28:38 After the discovery of ‘Rosetta stone’ and later when scientists managed to translate the Hieroglyphic language they found a manuscript describing Haman as the one in charge of building
