It enables residents to do what they are capable of in the least restrictive way It reduces the need for shadow care facilitating independence and dignity More time is available for staff to spend quality time with people and staff productivity and efficiency is enhanced The safeguarding reporting helps staff feel protected, The relationship between the care home and it’s staff and the resident’s family is changing as the family can access the system to see how loved ones are getting on Care management can access the system to check specific care is being addressed eg  nighttime checks Doctors can view the data securely on line and identify developing trends  eg infection, depression, vascular heart episodes and effects of medication changes on behaviour. Reduction in drug use as residents’  are encouraged to walk, exercise Reduction in behaviours that challenge or better management of such behaviours Reduction in hospital admissions and falls More 1:1 care can be delivered as staff are freed up from traditional task based care delivery Improvement in relationships with Local Authorities Less time on administration relating to, and better relationships with, CQC as the reports produced evidence care delivery MyAmego: Delivering person-centred care
