1 PPPoE Internet Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet
PPPoE allows Internet Service Provider to manage access to accounts via user names and passwords. By using PPPoE, users can virtually “dial” from one node to another over an Ethernet network to establish a point to point connection between client and server and then transport data packets over the connection.
