2. UViRCO – EPRI relationship
ESKOM, one of UViRCO’s stakeholders, is a member of the EPRI Corona Camera Users Group.
In 2011 UViRCO was invited to attend a Corona Camera Users Group meeting.
In 2013 UViRCO licensed the contents of the “Field Guide: Daytime Discharge Inspection of Transmission and Distribution Overhead Lines and Substations” from EPRI for inclusion into the Site Inspection Guide.
Essentially UViRCO added brand specific instructions to the EPRI Field Guide.
