3. Summary
For our project we were tasked with helping the A&M Garden club create crafts and decorations for the Earth Day festival. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to the weather, however we were still able to donate all the materials and even created a how to video for one of the crafts. Overall, the volunteer work and collaboration with the A&M Garden Club was a real eye opener to community involvement & education about insects.

5. Butterfly Symmetry Mask
Included:
Pre cut masks
Jewels for decoration
Stickers for decoration
Instructions:
Have students decorate their mask with jewels and stickers that are symmetrical on both sides
For example if they put a jewel on the left bottom wing, they must put a jewel on the bottom right wing!

Some pre-cut leaves
Beads
String
Materials from plate life cycle craft
Instructions:
Cut string for desired necklace length
Attach 1st leaf
String on some beads
Repeat until you have 4 leaves
Use the “How to Video” in Slide 4 to construct the EGG, CATERPILLAR, CHRYSALIS, & BUTTERFLY
