Wednesday 19th September, 09:30 to 13:00 ‘09:30 – 10:00 Registration and refreshments 10:00 – 10:15 Introduction 10:15 – 11:15 Session One: Canine Cancers - Dr Mike Starkey, (Head of Molecular Oncology, Animal Health Trust) An overview of how cancer can manifest in an individual, current treatment options available and future research. 11:15 – 11:30 Break 11:30 – 12:30 Session Two: Common Skin Problems in the Dog Dr Rosario Cerundolo discusses the most common skin problems that affect dogs of all breeds, and the clinical signs and risk factors that owners should consider, to prevent their dog from becoming affected by a skin problem. 12:30 – 13:00 Session Three: The Breed Health Co-ordinator Mentor Scheme Panel Q&A Session Being a Breed Health Co-ordinator can be a high pressure and stressful position! to undertake. It can be hard to find a balance between supporting confidential and emotion cases, and remaining professional and impartial. Breed Health Co-ordinator mentors will give advice and tips 13:00 – 14:00 Buffet Lunch
