Purpose of the software
Drawings Heating/cooling systems Insert AutoCAD drawings Pre-prepared blocks Product library Radiator, pipe, control valve, accessories Hydronic calculation Pressure drop, pipe dimension, pre-setting Documentation Danfoss cooperation with software producers started about 10 years ago. Now We are using mainly DanfossCO, created by Piotr Wereszczyński. The company’s name is Sankom. This program exists in English, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian languages.

This program is meant for a graphical design of new central heating installations, as well as hydronic balancing of already existing ones (e.g. in additionally insulated buildings). The program also enables us to design systems of pipes in cooling system. What kind of system can we design with DanfossCO help? First of all double and single pipe systems. We can also design upper or bottom heating agent division, vertical and horizontal systems (including manifolds) and of course radiator and floor heating systems

We can adjust diameters of pipes, estimate hydraulic resistance for individual circuits, taking into account gravity pressure, resulting from water cooling in pipes and heat receivers. We can also reduce overpressure in circuits by adjusting initial presets of valves. The program also takes into account the necessity of ensuring that the hydraulic resistance of pipe-run with heat receiver (pgmin) are relevant. It automatically takes into account requirements on authorities for thermostatic valves (appropriate pressure drop on valves). Also all restrictions about max/min speed and max/min flow are checking.
