Request for Proposal (RFP) is done for the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO)
Specification Worksheet
Bid Released- Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), distributor and manufacturers
Primary and Secondary Awards
RFP- what does GPO have to offer; contract pricing, incentives (early payment, order size), value added services (other contracts), reporting capabilities of GPO (pinpoint) and distributor; marker basket done for top high dollar/high usage items
contract for one year with extensions up to 5 years
