Some questions about these words: Who feels grief and what does it look like? Is it an abstract noun? What does grief suggest to you about the poem before we read it? What does the one verse stanza suggest about grief? How would you categorise the poem (theme)? What is the mood and atmosphere and does it change? What lines/phrases or words stand out to you?
