Maximilien Robespierre is executed in 1784
By 1799 Napoleon Bonaparte had seized power
Europe responds to this power which leads to prolonged warfare leading to a French Empire in Europe
Napoleon flees to Britain when Prussia starts to beat his army and is exiled to the island Saint Helena in 1815 where he writes a book about Julius Caesar and dies.
