French Revolution lasted generally from 1792 is when it became radical and violent King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette are executed in 1793 Maximilien Robespierre is executed in 1784 By 1799 Napoleon Bonaparte had seized power Europe responds to this power which leads to prolonged warfare leading to a French Empire in Europe Napoleon flees to Britain when Prussia starts to beat his army and is exiled to the island Saint Helena in 1815 where he writes a book about Julius Caesar and dies.
