burndown chart is an excellent tool to follow R&D progress regular meetings with R&D (especially developers) possibility to regulary verify requirements vs. developed results - if being product owner in several scrums simultaneously -> takes a lot of time at least in the beginning Vision: ROI, product features Selected Product backlog features decided in the Sprint planning meeting Potentially shippable product (+demo) Evolving, prioritised features Sprint Retrospective Daily Scrum Sprint Planning meeting Landis+Gyr – Mika Puikkonen

Lessons learned so far company processes / responsibilities must be updated to support SCRUM full / ideal implementation very difficult every team member can’t do everything (lack of competence / knowhow) very transparent, reveals ”weak spots” sprint planning retro demo high level of commitment needed from all parties in order to achieve best results Landis+Gyr – Mika Puikkonen
