Definition: A prism is a solid in which the cross-sectional area remains the same. In other words the shape of the end is the same shape and size throughout the solid. Definition: The faces are the sides on a solid An edge is where two faces meet. In other words the line drawn to represent a fold in the shape. Hidden edges are drawn with a dotted line.
