Uniform Accounting Procedures
Michigan Department of Treasury Uniform Chart of Accounts Nine-digit system When establishing the drain fund, the Board Treasurer must be sure to use the appropriate account titles and numbers from the Uniform Chart of Accounts. This is necessary to keep an accurate record of total assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures, and is also helpful when preparing an annual report for auditing purposes. macdc.us
