Basically INTOGRATE is a tool for the NAV programmer enabling him or her to develop specific integration solutions from NAV to Lotus Notes. As all programming is done inside NAV it is possible to honor the existing business logic in the ERP system. Most integration solutions can be made even without any modifications in Lotus Notes. In the current presentation we will focus on INTOGRATE for NAV – but it shall also be mentioned, that there is an INTOGRATE for Axapta also available. -- Click INTOGRATE is delivered in 3 versions, as shown in the following slides. It is a simple application that replaces all the mail-interfaces to Microsoft Outlook that exists in the standard version of NAV. This includes sending mails by clicking on the buttons and sending reports (where you can select “/File/Send/Report by …”). INTOGRATE Mail is relevant for all NAV customers using Lotus Notes. It includes all the mail functionality from INTOGRATE Mail – but also with enhanced features regarding journalization of mails. As with the standard integration with Microsoft Outlook it is possible to synchronize appointments and tasks to and from the Lotus Notes calendar system. This can be done on-the-fly or by running the synchronization tasks. Contact persons from NAV can, in the same way, be synchronized with the contact persons database in Lotus Notes (“Names and address book”) -- Click

Planning Resources Jobs Huma Resources Commerce Portal Help INTOGRATE Developer 3 INTOGRATE Navision - Mail and INTOGRATE Navision - CRM are applications that can be used as they are – replacing the corresponding functionality to MS Outlook. If you have other Lotus Notes applications that needs to be integrated with Navision INTOGRATE Developer has to be used. This is basically the raw development suite for Lotus Notes integration. With these tools it is possible to create integration solutions to any Lotus Notes application. Such an application could be an Lotus Notes based invoice approval system, a help-desk application integrated with the CRM-system in NAV, systems utilizing the workflow features in Lotus Notes and more. -- Click Additional notes: INTOGRATE Developer is used, if you have other Lotus Notes applications that should be integrated with NAV While INTOGRATE Mail and INTOGRATE CRM are pre-build applications, INTOGRATE Developer is used for custom-build applications INTOGRATE Developer does not contain the application parts from INTOGRATE Mail and INTOGRATE CRM.

8 Typical implementation
Download INTOGRATE from internet 1 Run setup.exe 2 Import elements in to NAV 3 Setup NAV 4 Go Live 5 INTOGRATE can typically be implemented in a matter of minutes. There are no requirement for Lotus Notes knowledge for the installer. -- Click First INTOGRATE installation package is either downloaded from the INTOGRATE web-site or loaded from a CD Then the install shield wizard is launched The setup program installs the necessary DLL’s and other Windows files Then the NAV elements has to be imported in NAV. Remember, that additional NAV objects may have to be acquired If any conflicts with existing NAV modifications is met, these has to be handled. But conflicts are rare, as INTOGRATE Customers has seldom made modifications in the areas related to MS Outlook. All NAV elements that will be imported are described in the documentation This initial process takes about 15 minutes If the customer uses INTOGRATE Mail the setup is now complete. If we are dealing with INTOGRATE CRM further setup is necessary. We have to setup some CRM parameters for each user in NAV. After this we are ready to utilize Lotus Notes from NAV The actual implementation can be more time-consuming in installations with e.g. Citrix. Elements to NAV are delivered in a NAV object file. Modified NAV elements are documented separately INTOGRATE Mail does not require NAV setup. A minor modification in Lotus Notes is required – this is documented in the documentation. 15 min 1-2 min per user
