How a High School Credit is Earned
Each semester class earns a student a half credit (.5 credit) as long as the student passes the class. 1 Semester = .5 credit. 1 Year = 1 credit. Failing a class earns 0 credits.
6
A Typical High School Day!
School begins at 7:30 a.m. There are 7 periods in the day with one of them being lunch (4th or 5th hour). That means that students take 6 classes. School gets out at 2:30 p.m., except for early release Wednesdays (1:30 p.m. release time). A hour classes are offered, however we do not recommend this for freshmen. Marching band is the only 8th hour class offered at this time.

Course Selections and Requesting Courses via Infinite Campus Student Portal
Please review ALL directions before completing your registration sheet and prior to entering data in the Infinite Campus system – Thank You!
22
Why is this process so important?
The course selections you make now will help drive the master schedule. What does this mean? We hire our teachers based on the requests you make. Once we build the master schedule, we can’t make many changes. That is why we won’t make many schedule changes over the summer and as school starts. Choose wisely!
