2 What is Hazard Hunt? HAZARD HUNT is not new to PDO.

3 Hazard Hunt! - How does it work?
The corporate HSE team will, work with and through Contract Holders (CH) and will arrange a visit to agreed worksites to carry out a HAZARD HUNT session. The team will attend and work with your team and carry our a practical review of the hazards and hazardous conditions in your worksite. The review will be recorded in pictures using an intrinsically safe camera. The HAZARD HUNT team will then debrief the team at site, report and record the information and working with the CH update the risk assessment for the site.

4 Hazard Hunt - How Long does the session take?
The HAZARD HUNT sessions are designed for 2 hours. This includes: 15 minutes safety brief for all, tool box talk or TRIC as required by site, 45 minutes, minimum, site walkthrough with the camera (rig/workshop/yard/construction) 45 minute debrief of the findings 15 minutes session feedback The sessions will be extended (or shortened) depending on the size of the operation and the customer requirements.

5 Hazard Hunt - Activity Objective: to bring a Qualitative approach to hazard and risk assessment; in a practical way and to the work site level Reason: many recent PDO accidents involve personnel not knowing hazards or risk and unnecessarily putting themselves in the ‘line of fire’ at risk!
