2. There are 4 assessment objectives
Each one must be covered to successfully pass this exam
They will be assessed throughout your prep work (holistically) and will also include your final outcome
You will have 6 weeks to research your chosen question

3. GCSE Assessment Objectives
AO1 record observations, experiences and ideas that are appropriate to intentions
AO2 analyse and evaluate images, objects and artefacts showing understanding of context
AO3 develop and explore ideas using media, processes and resources, reviewing, modifying and refining work as it progresses
A04 present a personal response, realising intentions, and making informed connections with the work of others

4. Choose your title and produce a brainstorm of ideas

5. Produce at least 3 collaged pages of images

6. Presentation Skills
Think about your background, add colour, texture and decoration that is RELEVANT to your theme.

7. Concentrate on drawing precisely and by adding a full range of tones
Record Observations
This can be done by taking photographs, presenting them in your sketchbook and drawing from them
You must also draw from objects that have been placed in front of you

9. Research at least 3 artists and produce copies of their work

10. Display the artists work alongside your own

11. Collecting pictures will give you ideas

12. Start to develop your ideas

13. This student experimented with Photoshop

14. Your final ideas will then begin to take shape

15. Design ideas 2 and 3 with alternate backgrounds

16. Final design for exam

Aim to complete at least 1 sketchbook page per night
Time your final outcome to ensure that you will have sufficient time in the exam
