Derby Stick Horse Races:
Newsletter-April 24, 2017 Mrs. Graham & Mrs. Gaskins Welcome to our new Taylor County Primary Center at 106 Ingram Ave.! We will be practicing all our skills for reading informational text. Spelling: We are learning to spell words with –less and –ness. Grammar: This week we will learn about the correct use of commas. Math: Many students are finished with all of the 2nd grade math units. They will be working on enrichment activities as others continue to get work completed. Derby Stick Horse Races: We will have stick horse races on May 4th. You may send a toy stick horse with your child, or you may help them make one. There are a few ideas attached. There are lots of neat ideas on Pinterest.

Upcoming Class Project
Calendar Change: Our last day of school will be Friday, May 19th and it will be a whole day. We will have school that day from 8:00-2:55. Help Wanted! We have some exciting things planned over the next few weeks, but we need your help. If you could donate any of the following items to the classroom, it would be greatly appreciated.
