1. ANNUAL PROGRAM REVIEW
Welcome! We are excited to have you here and about your participation in this project.
As you know, the AAIM – ABIM project is investigating the use of the ABIM’s performance improvement module on preventive cardiology to help teach and evaluate the ACGME’s general competencies of practice based learning and improvement and systems-based practice.

2. The program must document formal, systematic evaluation of the curriculum at least annually.

3. The program must monitor and track each of the following areas:
Resident performance
Faculty development
Graduate performance (including certification exam performance)

4. The program must monitor and track each of the following areas:
Program quality
confidential annual program evaluation by faculty and residents
resident questionaire

5. If deficiencies are found, the program should prepare a written plan of action to document initiatives to improve performance in the areas listed above. The action plan should be reviewed and approved by the teaching faculty and documented in meeting minutes.
