Pesticides and relevant metabolites are excluded of watchlist process as regulated in Annex I + II
Non relevent metabolites are excluded of watchlist process, but could be an issue for the working group
Screening methods should be included in monitoring data process
Priorisitation process (exposure and hazard) could be made by/based on REACH, ECHA, EMA databases

4. Groundwater watch list GWWL
Definition
The Groundwater Watch List (GWWL) is planned to be a list of new or emerging pollutants (chemical substances) that Member and Associated States may consider adding to their monitoring programmes on the basis that these pollutants may present a risk to achieving the environmental objectives of the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC). If they can be shown to be a risk, these pollutants may be considered for inclusion in the list of groundwater quality standards or threshold values noted in Annexes I and II of the Groundwater Directive (2006/118/EC)
