Getting There On I-95 N, take EXIT 104 to merge onto VA-207 E toward US-301/Bowling Green/Fort A.P. Hill. (go miles) VA-207 E becomes US-301 N. (go miles) Turn right onto Kings Hwy/VA-3 (this road is just before a Sheetz gas station) Turn left onto State Park Rd. Keep left at the fork to continue on State Park Rd. (go 1.46 miles) 1650 STATE PARK RD is on the right. Approx. driving time from Richmond is 1 HR 30 min.

Tent Setup and Logistics
IAVA has reserved the entire Campground C and Partially A for tents. Plan to arrive there by 5:30pm since it takes about 1 hour to set up the tent. At the entrance station, please mention IAVA Camping. PLEASE GET YOUR OWN TENT AND MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO SET IT UP. Park at designated areas only. Please do not park on the pavement. Please check-in at ENTRANCE OF CAMPGROUND C to get your wrist bands and your tent location. Please wear the wrist-band through the entire camping period. This helps us and the state park employees identify registered IAVA campers. Please put up the tents close together and set them up only where designated by the coordinator. We are running at full capacity. The campground host will have their RV in the area. Please respect their and other campers’ privacy As per campground policy no public display of alcohol IS ALLOWED. IF FOUND GUILTY you may BE subject to ticket And expulsion.

Who is coming Total Families: 130 Total People: 444 Adults: 314 Kids: 133 each camp site is Subject to 2 tents per site. We will try our best to accommodate you with your group but there may be situation where it may not be feasible. We appreciate your cooperation

Friday 22ND June, 2018 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Check-in and Setup (enjoy tea during setup) 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm Dinner (CAMPGROUND c) Saturday 23rd June, 2018 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM Yoga/meditation 8:30am to 9:30 am Breakfast & Tea (CAMPGROUND a) 9:30am to 12:00pm Activities or on your own 10:30am TO 1:00pm Clue game 12:00pm to 1:30pm Lunch – By the river 3:30pm to 4:30pm Activities including bingo 4:00pm to 4:30pm Snacks & Tea (campground c) 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM Magic Show (subject to final terms and weather) 5:30 pm to 6:30pm games and kids ramp walk (campground c) 6:30PM to 7:30PM DJ 7:30pm to 9:00pm Dinner (campground C) 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm Music / Campfire & Activities Sunday 24th June, 2018 8:30am to 9:30 am Breakfast & Tea (Campground a) 9:30am to 10:30am Cleanup and pack up 10:30am Checkout and clean up Clean up is individual responsibility and make sure your site is cleaned before leaving

Tent Allocation Tent Allocation will be given at the time of checking in at Camp Ground. Please co-operate with the team on allocations. While we will try to accommodate all requests, this is not guaranteed. Since the allocations will be already made please do not request for Last minute changes, as it is not possible for team to make changes During check-in.

We have a few activities planned Yoga/Meditation Clue Magic Show Games Camp Fire (S'mores) Other Activities: Hiking trip to fossil beach to search for shark teeth The state park also has a swimming pool for which we have access to. You can show the IAVA camping band for access.

General Advice Drinking water taps available on site (see site layout). If you need bottled drinking water, please bring enough to cover you for the entire trip. You are most welcome to bring group activity games. Games like volleyball, badminton, water tube etc... Please share them with other group members as well. Please make arrangements if you or your family members have specific dietary needs (Soya Milk, Gogurt, Special Drink and other dietary needs). IAVA will provide milk during breakfast and afternoon tea. Please place trash in the Trash receptacles. It is a reflection on our community. Wild Animals might get attracted to leftovers. Also, we could get fined by Law Enforcement You may miss out on delicious food cooked by our professional volunteers if you do not pay attention to the meal timings. However.. there will ALWAYS be something to eat. We will be playing bingo so please bring cash(change) if you would like to participate. Last but not the least .. Rain or Shine we WILL be there. You are responsible for family safety in all activities

Volunteer Advice We have assigned volunteers to various activities – we have a few volunteers that have been unassigned, we will reach out to you soon for help. This is an all-volunteer event; so THANK YOU ALL to make this happen. Volunteer teams - please start food preparation at least 3 hours before serving time. So we can maintain the timings. Cooking activity includes table setup, food preparation, serving & clean-up Please bring your knives, peelers & cutting boards if assigned in any cooking activity A sincere request to report on time for your volunteer activities. This helps us all to enjoy the camping. s will go out with allocations by Monday, so please watch out for the .
