These are: Good quality early diagnosis. Improved quality of care in general hospitals. Living well with dementia in care homes. Reduced use of antipsychotic medication.

Lancashire Outcomes framework for Dementia
Partnership approach involving; 3 Councils, 4 NHS partners, 1 NHS Foundation Trust & The Alzheimer's Society Creation of Dementia timeline 5 consultation events across Lancashire for people with Dementia and their carers Additional consultation from existing Dementia support groups (for both service users & carers) & LD focus group

Community Dementia Forum
Established in March 2010 and meets every 2 months at venues across East Lancs. The aim to bring together people with Dementia, carers, health and social care professionals and others to understand the local experience of people with Dementia and work out solutions together. Throughout 2010 we held themed meetings to gain views and experiences to help shape the JCS for Dementia.
