If your child eats breakfast at school, please have them here by 7:40 a.m.

4. Homework
Read for minutes everyday when possible! Record titles on monthly Reading Log.

10. Reading with your Child
Twenty minutes a day is all it takes to build key reading skills. Here are eight ways to build a better reader from birth to age 5!
1. Create reading rituals and read together every day!
2. Snuggle up close with a book!
3. Talk about the pictures and ask questions! (Who, What, Where, When, Why??)
4. Share different kinds of books!
5. Read with expression!
6. Read favorite books again and again!
Record yourself reading and play it on car trips or as an alternative to television!
