8 Student Evaluation “…it was open to everyone and we got to experience things that mostly students in other courses would experience.” “I was able to choose the learning that was most applicable for me. I was able to extend my existing knowledge and compliment my studies” “I loved these programmes, they were extremely helpful and were brilliant in gaining a chance to network with other students from different years.” “I liked being able to pick which sessions I attended, and working with students from other courses. It was nice to have a change in timetable from the my usual course lectures and learn new skills.” “…I met radiographers from second year during Advanced life support and teachers during dealing with a choking infant. I also met fellow nursing students in being old which enabled me to ask questions and make new connections. They were stimulating and something different to engage in being more practical and hands on. This is something I'd recommend every year, the activities allow you to build up on your current learning to develop a deeper understanding.”
