3 Beliefs Believed in fairness and justice 2 principles of justice…
1st principle of justice: “Each person is to have an equal right to the most extensive basic liberty and compatible with a similar liberty for others” Freedom of speech Liberty Pursuit of happiness

4 Beliefs 2nd principle of justice:
“they are to be of the greatest benefit to the least-advantaged members of society, consistent with the just savings principle” (the difference principle) “offices and positions must be open to everyone under conditions of fair equality of opportunity” also believes that inequalities can be just as long as they are to the benefit of the least advantaged (difference principle) (add video)

The Law of Peoples: a foreign policy that guides a liberal society in its interactions with other societies Two main ideas of John Rawls are: 1) The great evils of human history follow from political injustice 2) Once the most profound forms of political injustice are eliminated, these great evils will eventually disappear
