Student Expectations 1. Students will be seated in their assigned seats by the time the second bell rings. Students will bring all necessary materials to class, including their planners, which must have their names in them, and their ID badge, worn around the neck. 3. Students will complete all assignments on time. 4. Students will do their own work unless otherwise instructed. 5. Students will treat all class members with dignity and respect. 6. Students are expected to remain in the classroom for the entire class period. Use planner as passport to the bathroom. Cell phones and other electronic devices, like i-Pods or MP3 players, must be turned off in the classroom, and must not be used without permission.

8. Students are responsible for making up any missed assignments due to
absence and for completing them within the same time frame as the rest of the class. All assignments, including quizzes and tests, will be assigned a late penalty if not turned in or made up beforehand in the case of school-related or co-curricular absences or college visits. 9. Students are not to bring food or beverage except during 1st period, and except water in a clear container during all other periods. 10. Students are expected to participate actively in class discussion and ask questions. 11. Students will display honesty and integrity at all times in all classroom situations. 12. Students are expected to remain awake during the class period, and to take steps to maintain alertness throughout.

13. Store books and other materials under the desks.
14. Become familiar with fire/emergency and tornado exit plans.
