Value of contract: Length of contract: Contract start date: Completion date: £217,000 4 months February 2011 June 2011 Works/services provided: Partitions Sanitary ware installation Flooring Suspended ceilings Electrical, data & alarm installation Kitchen and bathroom installation Plumbing and heating Decoration Joinery Detailed description of contract: Refurbishment works to Wards A23 & B50 Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. Work included extensive refurbishment to bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, patient kitchen, server, clinic & corridors including new cabinetry, joinery, sanity ware, floor finishes & decoration. Particular challenges to be overcome: Contact details: Working within trust policy to ensure secured access in a low level secure psychiatric ward to ensure the safety of out-patients in adjacent wards but within the boundaries of our site Closely managing daily site staff movements as not to compromise the existing security measure and therefore maintaining the safety of out patients in adjacent wards Strictly manage specific access/egress route through the building for delivery and disposal of materials to minimise interaction with staff, patients and the general public and therefore reducing there inherent risk to health & safety C/o Brian Cooke (Architect) CG Partnership LLP 2B Parkyn Road Daybrook Nottingham.
