Captioning Scenario #1 You’ve recorded a video lesson and you’d like to take care of captioning the video on your own.
16
Captioning Scenario #1 It’s optional, but you can now start generating captions from the desktop recorder.
17
Captioning Scenario #1 Generate captions with speech-to-text; add captions manually; or add assignee. *Screenshot taken from the video view page in TechSmith Relay.

Captioning Scenario #1 You’ve recorded a video lesson and you’d like to take care of captioning the video on your own. Demo
19
Captioning Scenario #2 You’ve recorded multiple videos for your class and realize that you don’t have time to complete the captioning on your own. You’d like help, so you add a student or another faculty member as an “assignee” to caption your video(s).
20
Captioning Scenario #2 You can still start generating captions from the desktop recorder, but again, it’s optional.
21
Captioning Scenario #2 Add an Assignee (Megan, in this example) from the Activity Tab in Relay to grant access to help caption your video(s).
22
Captioning Scenario #2 The Assignee (Megan) will receive an notification with a link to view the video(s) that have been assigned to her.
23
Captioning Scenario #2 Here is Megan’s Relay Activity page. It shows what videos have been ‘Assigned to Me’ (Megan). When she clicks the ‘Edit Captions’ button, it will open the Caption Editor.
24
Captioning Scenario #2 If captions were already generated, the Assignee (Megan)will be notified when they can be edited.
