Fellowship Program Taught by
Therapists from US (Online) Working on travelling fellowship once a year for therapists to travel to treat patients in India and educating therapists

A set of skills, knowledge, and abilities required by registrant Basic Anatomy (Cadaver dissection) Applied physics Basic Evaluation skills Basic Splinting knowledge Basic knowledge of pathology of the upper extremity Basic knowledge of pharmacology How to perform research Thus, only a 3rd year student or post grad students qualify Skill set required to enter

3rd Year OT student (Free of cost) – Must provide proof of enrollment Post Graduate student (Free of cost) Must provide proof of enrollment It is also available for therapists in the community who wants to advance their learning for a fraction of the cost. Who is the fellowship for

Problem-solving ability Cognitive domain: encompasses behaviors based on knowledge & judgment Affective domain: the attitudes & values of the clinician Psychomotor domain: reflects the clinician’s manual & perceptual skills needed to practice Domain

Develop objectives that reflect master-level competency in your practice setting
To identify the knowledge, skills, and judgments that are used in practice and that make a difference in practice, in the sense that the practitioner’s level of mastery of knowledge, skills, and judgment has a substantial impact on the effectiveness of the practitioner’s performance Evaluate the individual in orthopedic setting to determine needs & priorities for occupational/ hand therapy based interventions Develop intervention plan that addresses the occupational needs of individuals. Implement occupationally meaningful interventions with individuals that support participation in relevant environments

Assessment of Therapists
Establishes an accurate and appropriate plan based on evaluation results Articulates a clear and logical rationale for the intervention process. Establishes service competency in assessment methods, including but not limited to interview, observations, assessment tools, and chart reviews within the context of the service delivery setting. Develops client-centered and occupation-based goals in collaboration with the occupational therapist. Assists in setting goals based on evaluation results, client’s goals and desires, and discharge environment Effectively interacts with clients to facilitate accomplishment of established goals. Engages in effective “in the moment” interactions during intervention sessions to ensure safety and maximize functional outcomes of clients Establishes relevant clinical research valuable to population in India Enhances the profession and Scope of OT’s in India Hand & Upper Extremity Ergonomic at work Home safety
