Consists of an introduction to programming in JAVA
With an emphasis on developing well-structured programs
Covers
the principles of object oriented programming
the JAVA language and
the JAVA class libraries

3. Course learning objectives
You are expected to be able to
Become familiar with the object oriented paradigm
Understand the main concepts of JAVA
Read a JAVA program and suggest improvements
Write your own JAVA code
to solve interesting real world problems
The main areas that this course will tackle are the following; for the time being, I will be just providing you with keywords. However, these keywords will be explained in more details later on. In order to be able to present JAVA language, the object oriented paradigm should be mastered. Then, I will be exhibiting the principles of the JAVA language along with the JAVA class libraries. By the end of this course, you will be able to solve interesting real world problems using JAVA.
